Oh, wow! I remember a lot of these customs, some of my favs man! I don't think I could make one as great as all of those though, it wouldn't be fair. But I really love the theme. Is it odd that I'm really into the twisted sort, like the Grimm brother's versions? And I'm playing American McGees Alice?

FYI to my fellow customizers:
Sometimes swappers can be vague on their questionnaires. Wanting to leave plenty of room for your partner to be creative is good, but they will want some guidance other than which fairy tale.

If there's  specific character, aspect of the story, certain version of the story, etc that you like or don't like let them know (for example, I LOVE Wonderland stuff - but NOT Tim Burton's version)

also - if you have specific images (for example images from deviantart) that you would like your partner to have as *inspiration* - make sure to include links to those! Or just a link to your DA favorites or something, so they get a feel for what you like.

Last year it seemed some people really wanted "twisted" and some people just wanted "goth" - if you truly mean one or the other, be sure your questionnaire is clear

Yes, I never meant for this swap to be "Disney Goth". When I labeled the swap twisted, I meant twisted. Like a sexy creepy. Stitches, blood and dirt. It wasn't meant to be rated G or even PG. Hopefully everyone understand that this year.

The form isn't vague and has questions that want detailed answers. To be honest there is a wide range of what people constitute as "twisted" and it doesn't mean what you receive will need to have gore or rotting pieces.

For me its about being creative and telling a twisted version of a story. Maybe Alice grew mad in Wonderland from all the potions she drank. Maybe the magic used by Cinderella's godmother cursed her instead. Maybe Rapunzel was both the damsel and the witch.
