 It rained in my town a few days ago, but before that it had been WEEKS.  It hasn't been raining much in real life, either! I really love getting gyroids the day after a good rain in the game, but now my house is filling up with them so yeah. LOL

  Hi everyone :) 

  I've been a member of the Arena since 2004, but I kind of slipped off the map a few years later when I could no longer afford to collect ponies.  But I've continued to love ponies, and I've never forgotten Arena and the TP. :)

  I'm Mary.  I used to live in Virginia, but went to Canada in 2008 and officially immigrated here in 2010.  I've been married for nearly five years now.  We don't have kids just yet, but we're looking forward to when we do.  We DO have five cats and foster kittens for adoption. 

  I began collecting ponies seriously in late 2004 after I got hooked on G3s, and eBay for G1s.  My collection numbers over 300 ponies as of right now, most of them G1 and G3.  The only G4s I own are blind bags, and I have a healthy sprinkling of those lovable G2s. 

  Favourite G1s: Galaxy, Gusty, Firefly, Moondancer, Nachtlicht, Fizzy, Moonstone, Night Glider
  Favourite G2s: Silver Swirl, Copper Glow, Princess Crystal
  Favourite G3s: Waterfire, Moondancer, Star Flight
  Favourite G4: Luna

What do you write? I mostly write fantasy, with some paranormal and the occasional sci-fi. 
Fiction? Non-fiction? Fiction.
What are you working on now? I'm currently working on several short stories to get over my long-term writer's block.
What's your favorite thing to write? Definitely fantasy. 
Are you published anywhere?  Nope.
Do you have writer's block? How do you cure it? I have it something fierce! I usually cure it by reading :)
Do you write to music? Yep, a wide mix.
What genre could you never write?  Horror.
Read any books or blogs on writing and want to recommend some? No, unfortunately!

Definitely winter weather, although our area doesn't get it nearly as bad as areas north and east of here.  We're also known for flash floods and tornadoes.

How much do you think you'll get rid of: I'll say 50 things!

Why are you doing this: I enjoy the zen feeling of decluttering, especially in the fall.  I've lived my entire life with too much "stuff" and it just isn't worth it.  I still have a ton of stuff back in Virginia, too! :/  Can't do anything about that right now, but when I go down there next spring, you can bet I'm clearing that stuff out.

How do you think you'll feel after getting rid of things: Awesome!!!

What things are you getting rid of first: Paper clutter!


1. Paper clutter [DONE]
2. Empty boxes [DONE]
3 - Trash bag of paper decorations from handfasting [DONE]
4 - My holey socks [DONE]
5 - Crappy bras [DONE]
6 - Broken Apple earbuds [DONE]
7 - Crap in sideboard [DONE]
8 - Crap in bathroom drawer [DONE]
9 - Mini "kawaii" bear wastebin [DONE... had to toss because one of the cats peed all over it]
10 - Cutesy Japanese erasers and stuff that were taking up room [DONE, gave to friends]
11 - 99% of my shoes because they were given to me and are hideous. I haven't worn them in 4+ years and I'm never going to.  [DONE]
12 - Surplus winter stuff that we've never used, is too small, etc. [DONE]
13 - Ratty old down jacket with broken zipper [DONE]


What next?
- Clean out fridge
- Clean out junk from kitchen hutch
- Use up any mostly-empty house cleaner bottles
