This week I interviewed G2 enthusiast Moonbreeze!
Personal Interview-Where did you get your user name?I rolled straight out of the Lion King fan corner of the internet (TLKFAA if that still exists), where OC's were a rather big part of the whole fandom. So when I got into ponies, I had to make an OC! I designed my OC way back in the day (2006). Her symbol is a crescent moon and some feathers flying around in the wind. I picked out a name for her which I used as my screen name.

Do you go to school or work?Work
What are your hobbies?Drawing, customizing, writing
Do you have any pets?No not at the moment, my appartment is too small for a cat
What do you like/dislike about yourself?I'm fairly patient and determined once I got my mind set on something. A not-so-good thing about myself is that I procrastinate... a lot!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?Scandinavia? Canada? Somewhere cold and I'll be happy. But I'm also quite content where I am now.
Do you collect anything other than ponies?Some vintage Littlest Petshop and vintage Polly Pockets. I'm also a low key TCG Pokémon and Magic the Gathering collector and I have some Monster High dolls around.
Ponies-How long have you been collecting ponies?Since 2006 officially, never really 100% let go of MLP from childhood. I set out to purchase some late G2's and early G3's in my early teens.
Why did you start collecting ponies?I had them (Gen 2) as a kid and had them in a storage box. I got them out one day and instantly fell in love again. I loved their colours and little eye gems, so I got into collecting more and more. They were comforting for me. And as someone who doesn't like wearing colours like that or having too much colour in their room, the ponies made up for it.
Who is your favorite pony and why?Oof, a tie between G2 Ivy and G2 Silver Swirl. Ivy was my first ever pony, but Silver Swirl's design is just so pretty and unique
Who is your least favorite pony and why?I think G4 Pinkie Pie, pink on pink and she's just too hyper for me. And BBE (G1) babies with their 1000-yard stares *shiver*
Who is your favorite pony from another country?Argentina Cool Breeze
Who is your favorite fakie?This one! Not sure what they're called though. Babyzillas maybe... I can't remember haha!

What is your favorite part about collecting?The community! I love to share anything MLP and like to see what other's get happy about when collecting
How big is your collection?Maybe 300? Two thirds is are my G2s
Then most are G1 then G3 and after that some G4.

Do you still play with your ponies?Nope
What rare or popular pony makes you ask why!?Rapunzel, I know she's rare, but I just don't think she's that special
If you had to have a pony symbol tattooed on your butt, which would you pick and why?G2 Princess Crystal's, because space!
If you could have any pony remade in a different generation, who would you choose and why?Hmm not sure! I'd love to see a G1 Tropical Pony as a G2

What has been the worst part about collecting?Space, I have too much and it's almost all in storage ;.;
What is your ultimate collecting goal?Might sound odd, but to continue from the question above this one; having the room to display my collection!
What is your biggest collecting accomplishment?My G2 prototypes.
What is your biggest collecting regret?Buying MOCs and selling the loose and complete sets I had of them. And then later discovering I didn't like MOCs

What do you think of custom ponies?Love them. I love figuring out new colour combo's and designing symbols <3
I also really enjoy seeing what other customizers come up with.
What are acceptable and unacceptable pony flaws, in your opinion?Acceptable, pen and sometimes a haircut.
Unacceptable... bite out of pony! Yikes!
Would you rather have a bait pony or a fakie?Bait, as there are too many fakies nowadays. With which I mean that the market is being flooded too much.
At least the bait is (usually) good quality plastic and I can restore it or use it for customization. I'd be afraid that the cheap fakie plastic would just melt when painted on
Do you watch pony shows/movies?Nop.
Do you read pony comics?Yes
Which ones?G2 ones, the French and the English ones
And some G1 when I stumble across them.
What is the worst thing you've ever done to a pony?Chopping of an ear by accident
