Well ok at first it looks like a jet, but upon closer inspection it appears to be some type of land vehicle. Like something out of F-Zero or even Star Wars.

Huh- Tempest reminds me strongly of Onyx from Rainbow Brite...

Funko had no new pony products to show. Funrise is not making more plushies but is working on other pony products that weren't available for showing.

Isn't it because Hasbro didn't renew their contracts because they want to be making more of their own pony stuff or something along those lines?

Eh I liked Knex when I was a kid (always took my brother's to play with lol) but I'm not digging the pony ones

It usually has more to do with what the licensee wants than Hasbro.

My guess for Funrise is that there are now so many plushie competitors that do a better job... that they don't want to compete for a tiny market share.

My guess for Funko is that since they did ponies for a couple years- it is just time for them to move on. They specialize in trendy pop culture- so it is rare for them to have the same characters lasting for years...
