g3 to g4 update.

I collected from age 14-24, and restarted again at 28, now! Only g1.
I started collecting when g2's where in stores here, I know stuff about g2's.

Anyway,
I am actively visiting fleamarkets and 2nd hand shops now.
I totally missed this g3, g3.5 and g4 thing.
I come across them a lot at flea markets, but I have no idea wich ponies are wanted!

I would love to be able to buy ponies that are wanted by arena members, I don't collect them, but it would be a shame if I left sought after ponies at those fleamarkets behind, while I could make people really happy with them here.

So the question is:
Could someone give me a short heads up what to look out for? Maybe with pictures?
I am from the Netherlands by the way.

G3s can be a hard sell unless you have ponies people are looking for, which with G3 depends on the collector. There are some sought after G3 ponies however that always sell a bit better than the rest. I agree that strawberry reef if a great G3 guide.

Thanks very much. I think I'm going to look up these ponies and print pictures of them and put them in a book, and bring that book with me to fleamarkets. I don't think I will ever be able to recognize g3's-g4's otherwise

You may not come across some of the harder to find G3s over this side of the pond unfortunately but we did get a couple of breezies and super long hair G3s which are always popular.

Just be careful with what you pay per pony for G3 and especially G3.5 - they can be hard to sell and the vast majority dont hold a value higher than $3ish.

In G4, some fans call the main characters in the TV show the "Mane 6" just to be silly. Hasbro keeps releasing them over and over, so a "non-mane-6" is any G4 character that isn't one of the six main characters in the TV show, who are Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.
