Hi All,
I'm looking at doing some sculpting, and like anyone, I want it to last to last a long time.

I was wondering if anyone has any old (10 years +) work done in apoxie sculpt and can tell us how it's held up?
Has it cracked, yellowed, flaked, crumbled to dust or is it just as it was when you first sculpted it?

I'm specifically after Apoxie sculpt, but if you have similar materials you'd like to discuss or share please do!

It doesnt have to be pony related.

Cheers :)

For Sale - For Auction / Selling Australian Birthflower Pony - March
« on: February 26, 2016, 08:56:48 PM »
HI All,
I'm selling my birth flower pony - I bought her a few years ago at a second hand store. She's in good but not great condition. Some pitting in the vinyl, some stains and very fluffy tail, but her mane is in good condition and her paintwork overall good.

She was cleaned inside and out when I bought her, and has been living on a shelf ever since. Selling as I am no longer as interested in MLP as I was. Starting at 30 AUD as her condition isn't perfect and I'm unsure what her current value is.

Let me know if you would like more photos

Shipping is unfortunately expensive from New Zealand, I'd rather use a courier for tracking protection, which is approx 40-50NZD. Please see ebay listing, I will refund the difference if it is less than expected. Note ebay is listing me as still living in Australia, for your information I am now in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Thanks Rybett! I gave facebook a good go but didn't get much from it :( I might make an event and invite all my friends and annoy them a bit more.

Thanks everyone, I love you guys! I'd like to get back into ponies, but uni isn't letting me :p

Thanks! It's a tricky one to get people for, so i'm calling on friends far and wide!

Hi All,
Sorry I've been so non-existent around here, i'm in my final year of uni and it's a bit wild.

As part of it, I'm looking into vision impairment and audiobook usage among older populations, who are traditionally hard to survey, so I'm calling on friends, families and neighbors to help me out!

If you know someone with a significant vision impairment, I need your help. You can either answer based on your own observations, or give them a call and get the answers, which I'm sure they'd love.

The more answers I get, the better a product I can design!

Here's the link:

Feel free to voice your thoughts below too, if there's anything I've missed.

Thanks in advance, and of course you can PM me with anything, any time.

if you know that your best friends relative is vision impaired and over 60, please let them know about this survey!

EDIT: Also, any learning or intellectual difficulties that require them to use an audiobook- this doesn't fit within the survey but is important to consider, so please send me a message!

Finally, by doing this survey, you accept  and are happy for me to use the results for research and to publish within a report for my university subject. <- just need you to know that.

Thanks Ponies!
Heather

Ive had this problem too, in Australia it's a lot harder to get some of the products you have over in the US! I assume Fimo topcoat doesn't require baking? I have a new sealant ive been looking to try, I had a great one a while back, but I cant remember the name!!!!

Customs / Black Dye?
« on: September 17, 2012, 09:38:10 PM »
Hey all,

Ive recently been commissioned to do a black pony, and I painted one a while back, but obviously dye is preferable. BUT- whats the bleed like on black dye? What body colours dye black the best? Will I get the staining issues i've had with red in the past?

Most likely will be a g3 pony.

And Mods- if i've put this in the wrong spot apologies, I havent been here in SO long!
