Ohhhh, the original rainbow makes me feel so nostalgic!

Not only is this a really cute logo, but it must mean we'll be getting some kind of retro merch or products!

I still have twitches when I see 1983 on things, rather than 1982...but that aside, it's nice to know they're recognising the milestone.

I don't really like the font of the logo, it's too G4-G5ish for me, but I understand why it's that way. I DO like the rainbow though.

Maybe the lettering will grow on me.

My guess is they used the G5 font to keep it visually tightly connected to the current line. I don't mind the font, but I could have done without the ombre fill. I would have filled the individual letters with the colors of the rainbow to tie it nicely together. It's nit-picky though.

It makes sense they'd use the G5 logo for this since that's the current one. I assume if they do make any retro merch they'd use a more appropriate logo for those.

I think the logo looks cute!
But I'm more curious about their plans to celebrate the anniversary.
