I agree with ValeofSpring. I don't think people were implying that the custom was poorly made, just that it has a very distinct style that's clearly not everyone's cup of tea. I actually read through the comments and they're not nearly as bad as I thought they'd be considering the fuss people are making over this. As rude as it might seem, you've got to acknowledge that when you post your stuff on the internet, you're opening yourself up to critics as well as fans. Personally, I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but people are entitled to their own opinions.

And MLB gets on my nerves because they do a lot of bashing on other generations, because a lot of "bronies" aren't well versed in the pony world.  To them it's only the FIM.  Now don't get upset I'm saying most not all!

What bothers me the most is the lack of education! One can plainly see that it's a g3 pony. Yeah there will always be differences in taste, (music, art, fandoms) but steady educate yourself about the culture/history before bashing. Again, g4 wouldn't be here unless g1 existed.

Usually that site is pretty funny and cute. There was one post that was even pro-G3 once. It was a screenshot of the G3 ponies wearing socks and it said "G3 did it first" (because apparently having G4 characters wearing socks is a thing in the brony community...?)

But yeah when I saw that posted yesterday I was really sad. There are haters on there too.

yeahhh it started out as a not-so-safe-for-work thing and then migrated into it's mostly current territory of 'holy moly. ponys in socks is adorable.'


Days like these I'm really ashamed to be in the g4 fandom. :< I love the show, I love the G4s, I love G3s and G1s... y u guys gotta be so rude and make me look bad.

Everyone is completely entitled to their own tastes and preferences. And when people tell me they don't like the old ponies or the old show because it's essentially a half hour toy commercial, or because they feel it is not feministically empowering I can understand and even agree a lot of the time. Valid points can be made for disliking any of the generations. But these are not opinions expressed, this is just elitism. "ahhahaha dumb old gen fans. G4 is so much better." It is rude and inapropriate behavior.It's the same kind of people who steal blind bags. >
