My original generation! My G2 ponies were ruined in a house fire when I was 10, but I had Lightheart, Ivy, and one other (a pink one with a magenta and orange mane, Name forgotten) and the fancy playsets. I've kept my eyes peeled for them, as I would love to have some to referb, and *okay, yes* keep. So far, the only one I've found was a Lightheart in a bag of ponies I bought at the Salvation Army. Of course, she stayed with me  .

Make them into necklaces! It's so easy, all you do is use a pushpin to make a hole in the top of the head, get what they call eye-pins, (jewelry sections will have them at most stores) and a pair of wire-cutters. Cut the eye pins down to the length you want, put the pins in the hole, add a drop of superglue on top and you're done! Sell them to your friends! Give them as gifts! Get a table at a craft fair or comic con!

Ah, memories! I used to love TF growing up. I have a very small, but well loved collection of my own. Transmetal Airrazor, Universe Blackarachnia, Energon Arcee, and TFA Blackarachnia (To save confusion, I call her Elita). Some of my little treasures, though some would be appalled by the state of my Universe BA... she's all scuffed up. She might not be minty but she's mine, and one of my old favorite toys.
I gotta say, Nemesis, I love your little army. Watch out, boys, they're taking over!

I'm still new to this game, since I only became a pony collector in adulthood, but I'm interested to see what happens next. Whatever Hasbro does with themselves is going to be judged hard because of the hype surrounding the ponies. FIM was been their cash cow, whatever they do, they should do slowly.
Also, to whomever mentioned the "Transformers BotBots"... what even are these? If this was an attempt to get girls into the franchise, they failed miserably, IMHO. No longer the demographic here, clearly, but if you want girls in, they should've tried making the female characters more available, given Elita-One, Arcee, and some of the other girls action figures comparable to the male characters. Cause these are really kinda dumb.
@Leave A Whisper, I'm very sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to in the least. And I had no clue they'd started making more femmes! The ten year old in me just screamed with joy. This only goes to show me that I, as a toy restorer and seller myself to get on the ball a little more!

These are all very valid points, LOL! I mean, I never got the whole Shopkins thing, maybe I would've been into it when I was a kid, I'm not sure. It is, however, nice to see more female TFs of any kind in the line!

Ah, thank you all! I'll try the Vinegar/Baking Soda thing, that sounds like a good solution. I know it's not tobacco, and I think that it's water staining as proposed by lovesbabysquirmy. Wish me luck!
