I've never found a Lemondrop or Baby Surprise in 13 years of collecting :( I did add yet another Cotton Candy and Sundance to my herd though! They follow me home, I swear!  :biggrin:

Mine are SS Lofty and SS Magic Star and almost always they are in excellent condition! I guess there have been a few Cotton Candys and Blossoms too over the years :)

Oooh, I remember playing with my friends' nursery when I was little. I'm sure it didn't look half as nice as the one you have there :) Very jealous!

Introductions / Hello!

Hello everyone!

I'm a 34 year old big kid :) I live in Alberta, Canada and I have been a pony collector for almost 13 years now. I take occassional breaks from actively searching for ponies which my bank account thanks me for :)

I collect only G1s. They were what I had when I was little, and I tried collecting G3s when they first came out but it just wasn't the same for me. I like to find my ponies locally which really limits how many I can find and it also means that I have quite a few duplicates in my herd :lol: I guess I just like the thrill of the chase and putting the work in to clean up filthy ponies and making them beautiful again. As I type this, I can see the 2 Blossoms, 2 Cotton Candys and 1 Peachy who are currently in the toilet paper hair salon!

I don't have any of my original ponies (my first ever was Glory) but I have a wonderful friend who I've known since kindergarten who gave me all of her original ponies (Moondancer, 4-Speed, Tootsie, Baby Dangles, and BBE Ribbon). I remember hauling all of mine to her house to play with her so they are my most special ponies because I did play with them when I was little. I even remember how we always made poor Tootsie be Lucky because neither of us had him!!

The pony that reintroduced me to MLPs was Tickle. I found her in a Value Village when my daughter was very young. Even though I didn't have Tickle when I was small, it reminded me of how much I loved ponies and the rest is history. I have around 300 ponies now  :shocked: I don't have any particularly rare ponies, but I do have 8 MOC ponies because my husband is very understanding and awesome! I even found a SS Magic Star at Value Village taped inside her bubble with the card, ribbon, booklet and sticker :)
