While we are waiting for Twilight Sparkle to appear as a translucent pony, I have some interesting info I would like to share about the translucent ponies.
Recently I received a Fluttershy and Rarity in the mail, and discovered something that made me super excited. Here are pics:

Usually, we see new ponies being sold on Taobao, and sneak peaks of things to come. These ponies however, are not new at all. Rarity's foot number indicates that she was made a long long time ago. I have other ponies with this number on their feet that were wave 1 ponies. Newer ponies have a higher number on their feet, while older ponies have a lower number on their foot. I don't think Hasbro would mass produce these and leave them in a warehouse for years (that is a waste of money), so I really do think that these are prototypes, test runs, or samples.
The evidence:
1. Rarity has an old batch number on her foot.
2. Fluttershy has her old colour of hair. Fluttershy is only made with light pink hair, rather than the darker pink.
3. Rainbow Dash's picture has bangs which are not made anymore.
4. Applejack's picture has bangs, which are also not made anymore.
So to sum up, I really think these are pretty ancient for being new/unseen G4s, and that if we see ponies like this in the future, they will likely have differences.
Anyways, I was far too excited over that
Hasbro really really was planning far ahead.
EDIT: Oh yes I should warn you that the whole foot number thing that I am talking about is a theory based on what I have observed personally so far. I do not know anything about these foot numbers for a fact, this is merely an assumption I have made based on observations from buying lots of G4s from around the world.
