G1 Fakie

Perhaps this is no news but I found this fakie at my grocery store and due to its close resemblance to a G1 and only $2.99 I had to have it.visitors can't see pics , please register or login

That's adorable! The grocery store we usually go to use to carry those. Now that I actually want them to use as custom bait, they no longer stock them. XD Congrats on the find! :D

She's a pretty color! I haven't seen any  in our stores in awhile - but it was the ones with those awful painted hooves! I like the ones without all the paint

Crumpet fakies! They were actually made from a Hasbro mold, from my understanding. My gas station had some out that were covered in a thin layer of dust a while ago, so I assume they were old stock. I bought them all. :cheer:

That particular one is actually my favorite of the four that I bought. I named her after my best friend. :lovey:

I know there was a post on the old Arena for these fakies from someone who had collected all that were known at the time. I go back to it occasionally for reference... let me see if I can find it.

EDIT: It's this one. Thanks, Google!

There's another one left. But the seal is a bit opened so she could be good for a custom. PM me if you need me to get it for you.
Oh! Thanks for the link:)

If you take her out, feel around by the rump, usually there's raised bumps where the symbols were from the pony they used for the molding....

I have heard this before. Apparently the stolen pony was Seaflower, so the symbols are flowery sunny seashells. I've only been able to find it one one of them, so I wonder if some are more prominent than others.

Probably not so much stolen as some very questionable and cheap reverse pony engineering!!!  :P
