cream and white starshines?

I have 3 starshines, and one out of the bunch's plastic is different from the rest.  It is reallly white and harder, like with merry treats rather than the creamy softer plastic that the other starshines have.  I know she sunburns easy, but i wonder if this one is different...  (not that she needs it, she is the whitest ever!)  but i thought that was odd....

Its probably going to be a combination of 30 year old ponies being stored or played with or displayed in a wide variety of ways not to mention the multitude of different batches [and possibly even different factories] which produced this super common pony...

I'm very lucky with my starshine, mine is bright white and I got her for $2. I thought she was a remake at first.

I had a beige and white starshine... So funny how some have a beige body with a white head or vice versa.
Yep, a lot can happen in 30 years...

She tends to discolor, but she is a fun pony!

there were several different releases, with slightly different symbols: paint and glitter vs glitter alone and slightly different hair colours: heartthrob pink stripe vs. a mummy appedelight pink stripe.

i have found that the mummy appledelight pink starshine's are whiter and harder, were as the heartthrob pink starshines do seem more prone to going brown, BUT as with everything hasbro there may be no real pattern!

the enviroment does contribute to how a pony ages though.
