Love Swap Pony for Corona

Here is the custom I made for Corona as part of the Love Swap. She arrived safe and sound and Corona says she likes her! This was only my second full custom pony and I went through many ideas but finally came to this one and I am proud of how she turned out! Corona's favorite colors were orange and ocean blue, so I knew I wanted to try to use those colors, and she also put that she likes exotic bugs and bees, so in the end I decided to do a bee pony! I went for a TAF G3 pony, with a little different bee style than G1 Honeycomb and blue hair.

She is haired with a blend of Blue Raspberry and Summer Sky monofiber hair from RetrodollsUS. I left lit long and straight because it's SO soft to stroke, and curling or crimping it really takes away from the silkiness in my opinion. She kept her Hasbro eyes, but symbols and wings are painted with acrylics and sealed with Country Colors Satin Varnish and Sealer. Her wings are hand made out of plastic and painted to look like real bee wings, then individually glued in with diamond glaze. She also came with a removable felt bee hair clip that I made.
