ebay buy it now question...
« on: October 21, 2013, 11:23:13 AM »
If a person bids on an auction with a Buy-it-now option, does the BIN option cease to exist?  If so, are people allowed to bid beyond the BIN price?

I ask, because I've got an auction with a BIN, and since someone has bid on it, it no longer shows the BIN option on my screen.

Yes bidding eliminates the BIN option and bids can surpass or fall below the BIN price :)

Yes, that is how it works unless you set a reserve price. If a reserve is set, the BIN option will remain until the reserve has been met.
