Hi everyone! As promised in the FB group post, here is the official Arena post for this year's Jubilee/meet! :D
Host Pony: Flutterbye!
Theme: Together Again!
Date: Saturday, September 4, 2021!
Time: 11am-5pm
Where: Mysterious location, near Hugedale* (aka, MoA)
Special note: Facemasks are required for indoor areas—children who cannot be vaccinated yet will be present!
Admission: FREE! (Unless you wish to pay tribute to our hostess ;) )
Activities:
-Buying/selling ponies, accessories, and related items
-Coloring contest
-Bag toss game
-Dice game
-Raffle
-Group photo
-Rehairing demo
-Food (potluck or ordering in are current options)

If anyone has problems with the admission price, please message me. We are trying to decide where to have the meet, and if cost is a factor for people, we need to know about it. I won't share anyone's names, I just need to do the research. Right now it is set at $20 just to have a starting point, and I don't think it will be more than that.
Share your input! Let us know where you are, how far you would need to travel to get to the big city, and how much space you might want for display!
Just throwing this out there, I absolutely cannot go on the last weekend of August. This will only really matter if it is at my house, of course! Don't plan around me, just felt like sharing.

I'm in Sioux City Iowa and want to put myself down as a maybe leaning heavily towards a yes. ^_^ It's been a few years but it'd be really great to see everyone again! The rehairing part has me super excited and I'd love to help out with our shimmerlocks.com (https://www.shimmerlocks.com) products if you all think it would be useful ^_^ My vote goes for Owatonna just cause it's a bit closer, but I understand if it needs to be somewhere else to accommodate the larger majority. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure! $20 is not an issue for me especially if our host has to pay for a venue.

I'm just so conflicted honestly as Furry Migration is the 10-12 and now I work overnights. Maybe with enough knowing ahead of time I could just have two days off in a row, so I don't use any PTO, which is going towards con. I have a lot to think about...meep. But I really want to do this I miss my pony sisters.

I don’t think I have anything scheduled for any of those days. I live in Burnsville so I’m close but I don’t really want to have to go more than about 30 minutes.
Every time I plan to go to one of these things I get sick so I hope I can make it this time.

I have so much to sell! It'd be nice to do that in person again. I just voted for September in the hopes we'll have a better chance at having weather that isn't like today. :lol:

Thus far, looks like August 21/22 is the winner, with Labor Day weekend a close second! Looks like we've 12 people accounted for and only 8 have voted for a weekend date, though! If you haven't given your first and second choices in the voting above, please do! It's open until June 15! :awake:

...I'm going to need to make a list of the hair colors I already have before this meet, aren't I. :lol: The tool you show on your website is slightly different than the one I have, so a demo from you on it would be great! :D

Hmm. August 21/22 is when Rochester's Gold Rush flea market will be occurring, maybe if we can find a place in the city or nearby, some of us can group up and take a look there before or after! It might be fun if we all do a run through the place too, and maybe see who can find the most pony related things. Just an idea!

I am very slow to getting back, not so active anymore. I have to work that weekend again of course! I am trying to get myself a few job though after 14 years of this one I have! Burned out! LOL

I might skip if it's Monday...my hubby works early Tues and Elizabeth wouldn't be able to go we shall see...still hoping for Sat or Sunday...Monday will be a tad hard to get in my schedule because we live fairly far away...if we are having at diannas why can't it remain on Sat or sun? Sorry just trying to figure things out.

Hey, all! This will get updated on the first post soon, but for now, here's what we know.
Where: Near the Mall of America, at Nimrodel's house
When: Saturday, September 4 from 11-5 (set-up from 11-12)
If we go inside, masks will be required. Fortunately, I still have lots of masks that I got bored with and didn't finish, so I can make fresh ones for the meet!
More to come as we figure it out!
ETA: I was just reading through the posts and realized that I am going to have to remember what everyone looks like again. I'm so so sorry. After ten years or whatever, you could think I could remember.

I have another event I do not have the option to reschddule and have already paid for the same day and mostly the same time.

Oh I forgot to say that I can't participate in the potluck or eat anything that is ordered. I have too many food intolerances so unfortunately I can only eat food I've prepared myself. :(

Possibly at Aurora's little farm this spring, but it depends on covid shannies. If you're not already on it, we've a group chat going on FB Messenger; look for the MN MLP group, and you should find it. Then, one of us can invite you to the chat. Just be forewarned we tend to be off-topic a lot, since it's mainly just the group members talking about whatever. If you want to PM me you IRL name so we know it's not a random person (which has happened before--channel spam isn't fun), that would be great! :)
