I found a glitter variant Fluttershy for $30 on Amazon so I snapped her up to go with my variant Dr. Whooves. Still need a green tie regular Dr. Whooves though.

The 'variant' part in the title is pretty misleading but you'd think the two different pictures would lead most buyers to investigate further to find out what they were getting. Hopefully it didn't disappoint too many people.

Oh I didn't even see the photo of Solid FS-  hopefully most people are more observant than I.

I am surprised ToWiz was able to sell these given the Hot Topic exclusivity thing-  but maybe it doesn't apply to things like amazon or ebay.

Toywiz shouldn't be able to sell them but they always have exclusives whether they are from Hot Topic or Target. As you know retailers like Hot Topic pay a premium or an inflated unit price in order to get exclusively on items so there is no way Hasbro are selling the same item to ToyWiz. There prices are always a touch over inflated [this perhaps being an exception], so I think they must simply buy retail in bulk like the rest of us and then sell on.

I totally want glitter Fluttershy, but the shipping to the UK is crazy to say i might not even get the one i want lol. I paid it for DH but at least then i knew i was getting the pony  i wanted (really want them to do a glittery RD and DH now though lol) So are the glittery ones actually showing up in Hot Topic shops then??

Wow! That's interesting!!!  Gosh- we don't even know what they look like yet though!

Edit-  I am shocked to see that delivery for the new Funko ponies is expected for April!  Both BigBadToyStore and ToyWiz have the new ponies-  (if anyone is curious, shipping for Toywiz seems to be just a teensie bit cheaper)

Don't give up checking your local stores ! I was going in to HT to check out the new fluttershy merchandise and low and behold I found him on the shelf.
