Got mine. Both are normal, and Doctor Whooves has a green tie (I wanted a red) 

I'll have to try to get a sparkly clear version of him. I love it.
These guys are A LOT better quality than Drama Pony and Rainbow Dash. I think the shiny finish helps.

Finally got mine too!  Looks like a truckload of regular Fluttershys, a couple of Whooves, and not a glittery flank in sight.  Ah well.  I knew I should have ordered 25 of each (but can you imagine the box that would have arrived? Lol)

I ordered a few more than I should have (shsss don't tell) but I'm glad I didn't go in on a whole case.
I still want to snag a prototype next time they go up.

I think you are right that it is a replicated listing-  but the actual Hot Topic listing (at the Hot Topic webpage) makes it much more clear- as the description is right at the top

The actual "product description" is identical to the Hot Topic listing- but doesn't appear until pretty far down in the listing, sandwiched between other irrelevant announcements/info.

So it is probably not Hot Topic intentionally trying to mislead folks (maybe) - but the set up of that listing is bound to trick more than a few I bet.
