Funko just said on their Facebook that the ponies are not a limited run but that they do eventually retire most of their figures. They also said that they are not exclusive to Hot Topic. So hopefully, for everypony that wasn't able to get Ditzy and Dash they will start showing up other places soon!

What other stores besides Barnes & Noble carry Funko figures? I want to know where to keep an eye out for Fluttershy. I can get it from B&N since it's just down the street, but every non-book item they sell is super over-priced and I'm sure these wouldn't be an exception.

Hott Topic, online and in stores, have started carrying the Funko ponies. I managed to get the Ditzy Doo pony from my nearby Hot Topic yesterday. She was $14.70, without tax.

As far as brick and mortar stores go I know that FYE carries Funkos as I bought my Freddy Krueger POP from there. For online stores there are a lot of options: Amazon, Entertainment Earth, Gemini Collectibles and I am sure a lot more.

The Doctor is an interesting choice, not something I'd buy, but it's nice to see them making a character who would have had pretty much zero chance of getting a brushable. I wonder if they'll do all the Mane Six and fandom "background six"? I'd love Octavia.

And it's nice Fluttershy is getting another toy that actually has her proper hair.

I can definitely see them doing a fan favorite 6 and a Mane 6. I would love to have an Octavia as well as DJ PON-3 and Lyra Heartstrings. And I think an in scale Celestia and Nightmare Moon/Luna would be awesome as well. Really once they get the bodies for the other pony types there could be no limit to what they could put out. I am kind of curious if their license from Hasbro has any exclusions as to what they can make.

I like how they are releasing the Mane 6 with the popular Backgrounders. 

I could see Pinkie and DJ being a wave, And Rarity and Octavia?  Applejack and Big Mac makes sense..
Wonder who Twilight would be with? Trixie?  Shining Armor Maybe?  or Maybe Shining Armor and Cadance would be together?  Celestia and Luna together would be nice...Maybe even a Deluxe figure on it's own of Discord?  I'd buy that in a heartbeat!!!

I found the vinyl Rainbow Dash when I was on vacation and on a tour of Hollywood/LA!  Still need to find Ditzy though..

I hope there's a Big Macintosh. It would be nice to see ponies that the writers put effort into developing as characters, rather than just shiny background characters. I also hope for a Cheerilee.

As for being pegasus heavy, I'm guessing they want to get most of their pegasus mold.
