SS Sundance: Year 4 and 5 flocking versions?

I just recently purchased a SS Sundance and I expected her to come with the year 4 flocking but she seems to have year 5 flocking.

I checked strawberry reef and it looks like she was a year 4 pony available both in store and  through mail order.

Was the store version year 4 flocking and the mail order year 5 flocking!? I’m curious if anyone knows.

As far as I remember she always has year 5 flocking.

I know right?! I always wondered why some SS ponies had shorter flocking than others. I must admit I am a fan of the longer/fuzzier flocking
