:dropjaw: Oh, I ADORE Captain Clipper!!! Wow, what a stunning redesign, he looks magnificent! Do you have a baby Clipper to stand next to him? I'd love to see them as a pair

This is a bit of a story.

My childhood Megan doll had seen a lot of love to the point her legs fell off and her hair was unsalvageable. So I rehaired her with cheap ucky yucky curly doll hair from michaels. Obviously a newbie mistake, but I loved her just the same. I found her new clothes and slowly developed her into her own little person. I named her Misty and I slowly imagined fun stories about what her and certain ponies from the later line of hasbro might do.  Fast forward a decade to me having accumulated all these ideas and finally rehairing her the way she deserved with nice sleek dolly hair in a nice shade of red/brown called pumpkin spice.

See, Misty is a regular girl when she's awake, but when this little girl goes to sleep she goes to a starry magical land to help celestial ponies who are ruled by the Sparkle family. There's Queen Sparkle and Baby Princess Sparkle of course who is in training to be the next queen of the dream realm. Misty and a rehair of ringlets I named Starfall collect shooting stars that children have wished on to bring back to the ponies -glow and show ponies, sparkle ponies, you get the theme- to try and make their wishes come true.

It's silly but the idea's brought me a lot of joy over the years.

Here's Misty and Starfall which ultimately are just rehairs <3

@Kissthethunder - in the UK, Rainbow Magic (UK name for Ringlets, or in your case, Starfall xD) had the power to grant wishes. So you really aren't far off ;)
I think Starfall is a gorgeous name for her.

Oh my gosh I didn't know that! I'd love to see her UK backcard if anyone has a scan???

And thank you so much SnapDragon! I've been sorely tempted recently to pull out my tablet and start drawing a comic about it to help ease my mental illness issues so knowing there's anyone out there who likes the direction I was going means a bunch <3

Here's another rehair I've done I haven't shown off

I wish I still had my backcard, it's one I haven't been able to replace yet :( She's one of my grail MOC ponies because I literally had her because she was meant to be able to grant wishes, when my mother was ill.

I do have this though:

On another note, I have a really bald Galaxy. By which I mean when I got her, she had literally no hair. Her body is ok. Her eyes and symbol are fine. She just needs new hair. And I can't figure out what colour(s) she ought to have. It won't be for a while as I have to find her and have some time, too, but any suggestions??

Ooooh I LOVE that little notation in the book about her granting wishes but on the same vein I'm so sorry to hear about how ill your mom was. That really does make her an incredibly special pony.

When I rehair I tend to lay colors out in front of me and pull one that seem to fit a theme and color scheme I have in mind I personally have always wanted to do Galaxy rehaired with starlight -a white silvery hair that acts to add shine like tinsel with out the crinkly mess- hand mixed into varying colors of pink, keeping it pale. Likely pussycat, tea rose, and maybe even virgin snow to keep her looking pale.

That's just my two cents personally! I'd love to see what you decide to do when you get around to rehairing her!
