question about original store version vs mail order

I saw mention in an ebay listing that the way to tell a store version from an original
lets say lemon drop for example
is that on the concave feet they will be stamped on all 4 feet instead of just 2 feet
is this true
is there really a way to tell?
If so how do you tell
show me some mo vs store originals and how you can tell
educate me please thank you

I know it sounds silly but the MO playset ponies also have a "softer" eye than the regular store releases. Its a pretty minor thing though unfortunately not enough to differentiate them on an ebay auction probably.

The collectors pose ponies all have differences in body or symbol colour - some significant such as Bluebelle and Cotton Candy while others are a little more subtle in Snuzzle and Minty.
