anyone knows how to write an app for the Mlparena?

Hey guys I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to do up apps f
or iPhones and androids to surf the arena. I'm surfing the arena on my phone and I thought it'll so much more convenient if I can access the arena from an application instead of my annoying android browser. Has anyone thought about this too?

i work at an app developing company and i can tell you that you have to know programming i studied mediatechnology and i can tell you that this is not easy cheesy

i think that there is an easier way to show websites in a mobile view, most providers provide this feature nowadays.

The lazy and easy way to do it:
on the iPhone, you can save webpages, and it looks like apps. just tpa it and it takes you to the net.

so yeah. that's the easy way to do it. No clue if that works for Andriod tho :/

As said before, you'll know how to program.

Since Andriod and iPhones are separate operating systems, they really need to be programmed separately.

I don't think it'd work too well, since it'd be a lot of text and data to go through, and the resolution of mobile phones are not large enough to easily read a forum-type environment with. This would work a lot easier on a tablet, but at that point, you might as well just use the browser.

Yes, making an app isn't as easy at it appears.  My husband has made a few apps, and they take quite a bit of skill and work.

Yes! I thought I was the only one who had thought of it. I use an android too and it really isn't convenient browsing and posting with the browser I even ever tried searching the App store to see if they had an MLPArena app! I'd be psyched if someone really did create an app for the Arena

There are several forum-browser apps in the market. If they could add support for the Arena, that would be neat.

if the forums were to install the Tapatalk module, then you could use the Tapatalk app to view them. The module is free to install on the forums, but the app costs money. Its a nice app though. I use it a lot for my other forums.

Yeah some kind of module to make it work on an iphone would be awesome. Sometimes I click the wrong link because they are so close together and even when I am trying to zoom in sometimes it clicks on something and starts to load another page. The only thing that works good is the shoutbox.

I agree on the Tapatalk module. That was the thing I had in mind. If the mods can look into installing the module, then those using tablets or phones can use Tapatalk to browse the forums.

Admittingly, I do browse the forums on my cellphone from time to time. It being a HTC ChaCha (otherwise known in the Americas as an AT&T HTC Status), it has a real tinny 480x320 screen which makes browsing the forums sorta difficult, with lots of scrolling and zooming in and out, with Opera Mobile because 3G isn't really available everywhere in Malaysia on my cell co.
