Wow. It's been 4 years since I logged into this site. I thought I'd pop in to say hello.. (and also to sell some ponies, but anyway..)It really doesn't look much different on here! I don't recognise many names, but then again I often forget names of people in real life  I remember ShortyBoo, JazzMatazz, SurfStar, Crowning_Glory13.. I ran a candy swap too! I'm not sure that anyone will remember me.. I was about 16 then - 21 now..  and this username really makes me giggle - it's ironic as I'm more gothic now! (- not too scary though!) I'm sad to say I likely won't stick around much as I'm at university now, and I've decided to stop collecting ponies due to a number of reasons  BUT I will still try to pop in from time to time to see what's happening!  Hi to all of the new members and the oldies too.. I hope this community is still as full of love as it was when I was last here. It helped me through a very difficult time. Take care everyone - and enjoy the ponies! <3

Hello! I am having a couple of clearouts over the next few months as we're hoping to move house (and I'm also currently a university student and am poor  ). Sadly that means the majority of my pony collection has to go.. I enjoyed collecting ponies years ago but I can't hold onto them any longer. I can only ship to the UK at the moment - apologies to international folk.. New things will be uploaded over the coming days and weeks.. I have more G4 ponies, some G1 and G3 ponies, Hello Kitty, some anime & manga, band merch.. It's all in great condition - the ponies have only been used for display. - I do happen to have some G1 ponies which are developing pony cancer.. I am hoping they can go to a home where they can be saved and cherished even longer.. Okaiii so it's not all MLP.. x3 but I guess I'll keep all my wishes here just to keep track of things. There are so many cute things available in the USA (two words: hot topic) and other countries which we can't get over here in the UK.. although I can't buy tooo much stuff (saving up for comic con.. plus I'm a student!), I do have blindbags which I'm considering putting up for trade, and I can get hold of any UK stuff you can't get elsewhere..  Italicised items are things I'm particularly wanting.. MLP: Exclusively FiM at the mo'!!  I'm a complete sucker for cute things, like bracelets, little notebooks and stickers.. so I might be interested in anything like that too! One of my close friends shared this with me last night.. if you're having a hectic day, are overtired, your head is pounding or simply overflowing with thought, there are 3 steps you should follow.. First, click on this. Follow all of the instructions.. Next, go here - you can vent to your heart's desire, and no one will read it.. Finally, wind down with this. It's a godsend when you're in that horrible restless thought mode.. hope that some of you find it helpful <3

Calling all Cath Kidston addicts!!  It can't just be me who adores Cath Kidston's designs and products.. I adore the fabric and her quirky, pretty takes on things. At present I only have a tote bag, but I'm hoping to get her sewing book, possibly towels and some more accessories.. I like to sew, and it's one of my quests to acquire some fabric and customise a pair of jeans with patches.. maybe a bag too.. Who else is crazy for Cath?

I know that recently on the arena there has been a book swap (fantastic idea!!).. so why not a thread for books in general? What is your current / all time favourite book / author?
What genres do you tend to read, and is there anything literature-wise you stay away from?
Any book recommendations for arena folk? I recently ordered a number of books from eBay and Amazon.. the first of which, ' Thirteen Reasons Why' by Jay Asher, arrived today.. I've finished it, and it was quite gripping. I found it a tiiiiny bit longwinded, but definitely some nice twists and turns in there. On the way are: ' The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath ' Girl, Interrupted' by Susanna Kaysen ' The Book Thief' by Marcus Zusak (love that book!!) and the one I'm looking forward to most.. ' Wintergirls' by Laurie Halse Anderson. Some of my favourite books to date are: ' The Perks of Being a Wallflower' (Stephen Chbosky) ' The Catcher in the Rye' (J.D. Salinger) ' Kitchen' (Banana Yoshimoto) ' The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me' (Roald Dahl) ' Looking For Alaska' (John Green) and ' 1984' by George Orwell. My favourite author at present is Trudi Canavan.. the Black Magician trilogy is truly enthralling, her work is brilliant. I also like a couple of Jodi Picoult's novels.. although they kind of follow a monotonous format which pains me a little. I am also fond of the likes of Oscar Wilde, and some of the other classics. Fantasy, thriller and psychological tend to be my favourites - the more complex the better. I hate simple, cliched plots.. *cough* Twilight *splutter*. Also, the majority of shallow young adult novels. I'm looking for some medical novels.. and ones along the same sort of lines as ' Wintergirls'. Your turn..

We went to a different supermarket this week, and lo and behold.. they stocked blind bags! Neither of our usual ones have them anymore. I couldn't remember the code numbers, so I picked two at random.. and inside.. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSea Swirl!! I've not had her before, she was a pleasant surprise. Although her glue work is probably the worst I've seen - her head is so poorly stuck to her body.. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginApple Dazzle! I love her colours, and her cute little symbol. Her paint job isn't perfect, but at least her head's secure.. That's my teensy blind bag brag. Might head off to evil-Bay to see if there is anything else I can snag..

Mkay, so I'm housebound until Tuesday and as some Arena folk know, I adore baking.. So that's my plan for the weekend! I've got some friends coming over to help, and we need ideas.. I'd love to try some new recipes so could you guys share your faves with me? Ingredients I currently have (bc I can't go out to get other things!!):Plain flour Self Raising flour (+ baking soda) Stork baking butter Caster sugar (lots of it!) Brown sugar Vanilla, almond and lemon extracts Eggs (+ milk) Chocolate chips Flavoured raisins (lemon and cherry) Honey, Golden Syrup, Jam (loads of them), Marshmallow fluff and Peanut Butter Icing stuff (icing sugar, sprinkles, sugar stars, pink food colouring) I've probably got oats somewhere too We've probably got chocolate somewhere I can melt down if need be as well.. I won't be eating this stuff myself, but I'll share it among my friends and family. ..I've also got a Dora the Explorer packet mix bc I'm such a mature 16 year old.

This here wonder is called a Tangle. I have a horrible habit of picking at my fingers, and I'm a constant fidget.. especially when I'm stressed. This little gizmo was ever so cheap (£1!), and it's actually really calming.. It's basically just a loop of interconnected plastic pieces (you can get fuzzy ones and bumpy ones too) which you can move and tangle, it's pretty much infinite. It's quiet and really handy.. I adore it. Just thought to share this as it might benefit some of you!

I've decided to condense my pony wishlist into a photo blog.. So there are pics of every pony I'm looking for! (Clearly stating that none of the photos are mine.. if a pic is yours, let me know and I'll change it!) It starts with G4s, then G1s, then G3s. Doesn't yet include pony merch though. I also collect pony ribbons, stickers (FiM), apparel, pretty much any kind of merch actually.. And of course, I have my Pinkie Pie army.. Currently not buying anything in excess of $10, which includes UK shipping!

Haven't seen these before on the arena! I struck pony-lucky in H&M today, managed to grab some of the new FiM clips, saw the locket and bracelet (which I already have) and the FiM clips with hair, and then I spotted these.. G1 hair clips, featuring Gusty, Peachy and I think Bluebell oh it's Medley! Wow, they're so gorgeous. The Gusty ones especially are striking, the pic doesn't do them as much justice. They were also selling FiM band-aids at our H&M! Very tempting, but I decided to pass on them as I only recently bought some HK ones. Also discovered that local Toymaster stocks the Wedding Castle, talking Cadence and all of the Bridal ponies. Lovely!

This morning, I discovered that I had mail..  It confused me so much, as I was like 'Wow.. I don't remember getting anything..' So I opened the package, and inside was.. a wonderful RAOPK from rybett! Wow! Aw, it really touched me and brought a smile to my face.. What a wonderful, lovely thing to do!
