Post by: mlp4me on September 12, 2018, 05:42:11 AM
Happy Wednesday! This week we'll be featuring what I like to call the "cousins" of MLP, Dream Beauties.

She's kind of put in the background by her attention seeking pal, but here she is...

I like her, but these two seem really samey for being the only two in their set.  :/

The prototype of Circle Dancer was prettier . . .

They are so beautiful! :edit: but anatomically a bit worrying, I agree with people below!

I agree. I would have rather have had the pale version too...

She's new to me, I really like her. Carousel horses (especially the really ornate ones) have always been a point of fascination for me, so she'd definitely be welcome in my herd... if she fancies bringing some MGR ponies along with her, that'd be great too.

Not often I will put this but pass. She looks like someone broke her pastons then asked her to walk on, and as a horse lover I find this very disturbing

She is the only one I have, at the moment got them for a song, as one of the shoulders has a big crack in it.

Circle Dancer was always the one (non-pegasus) Dream Beauty who stood out to me.  I do love ponies who have the cape mouldings like carousel ponies.  I would like to own her one day.

As a kid I kind of resented these ponies.  Because when I finally got to visit a toy store, all the familiar little ponies had been replaced by Dream Beauties.  :P

But, I do really like her name!

This one I actually have! “The one who started it all,” and at 50c no less!!

It was at an annual flea market, a sweet old lady had her and another Barbie-style horse thing for sale. I looked at 2 different sources in my phone and still could not figure out if she was for real or not, because the images I saw online of her were of her miscolored to pink (and no they were not of her twin, Mayfair.) Also, DBs actually do not have any copyright stamps. The only tip-off I had were her eyes.

I ended up buying her anyway and found out later she was real. I sort of feel bad because there was a little girl who also really wanted her, but ended up buying the other thing instead. Phew.
Remind me to include a picture of her later!
