Because looking can't harm anyone, right? And looking and ponies is fun, right? And that is really all you intended on doing, honest! And then your finger slips, just a little bit, and hits the "Buy It Now" button by mistake. Whoops. :blush:

I've been slowly working on downsizing. Plushies are rather hard to sell.
And of course Enterplay has to release a new set of cards when I'm trying to save up for conventions next year.

When you see a listing for vintage ponies on Craigslist, click it, and it shows G3s. And then in the description it says " Vintage my little ponies. They are all marked Hasbro 2008."
Or when you see a custom listing on eBay with a before and after picture and see they made it out of a rare pony or a pony in great condition. Especially if it's one of your most wanted ponies >_<

I love these!
When you get a pony in a lot and resell it because you bought the lot to get another pony, and then later decide you actually want the one you sold for your collection, too.
Or when visiting friends and relatives are creeped out by the headless toys drying out in your bathroom, or wonder why there is a toy sunning on the porch with parts covered in tape....

I had a few weeks last summer when I swear it was like someone was ghosting my watchlist as literally four or five things in sequence I went to buy vanished one after one. STILL really upset about the Haunted Twyla doll because she was the prettiest one I'd ever seen - but I had to wait till I had money :/
On the flip, there's something that's been on my watchlist for literally years. I keep waiting for the day the seller realises it's overpriced and brings it down to the realistic range. Doesn't seem to be happening but I still haven't given up. Expecting that when it does come down, someone else will get it first ;)

When you find out that the one pony your grandma bought you and never allowed you to take home is more sought after than her setmates making her price double or even triple others from the same set. But you really want to replace it because you vividly remember that pony.

This happens to me a lot. I once found a complete Sugarberry puzzle but not a single pony of any generation in sight :(

one of my local thrifts has 2 G1 VHS, 1 G3 VHS, Rainbow Rocks DVD, a bunch of McD's toys, and a G3 so soft Rainbow Dash... but no actual brushable ponies. grrr....
