Southeast Snow/Ice Storm

Everyone be patient with any mail coming from the Southeastern US, especially the mail hub out of Atlanta. We are currently under a State and National state of emergency.

Good idea making a post Vertefae.  I'll add that some post offices (possibly all) in the Atlanta area are closing due to the fact that roads are icey and mail cannot be delivered to and from the post offices.

Yup. From what my hubby said, all their local runs between post offices are cancelled until at least Friday. The only reason his run went to NY was because they left just as the ice was starting. I wouldn't expect any mail in or out of Atlanta until the weekend.

We got a whalloped in the mid-atlantic states, and it looks like north of us (new england) is getting pounded as well.  I was off work today because conditions were so bad. We're getting ANOTHER three inches of snow overnight.  I'm crossing my fingers for a super long weekend (national holiday monday), but as it's going to go up to 40 degrees Farenheit, I'm not holding my breath.
