Well, I managed to snag an airbrush yesterday at the garage sales, WITH a propellant can, so I might make a mad dash and try to get coats of paint on the pony bait I have.  I could do it free handed, but I would really love to try this with an airbrush, as the effect would be much closer to what I had in mind.  I could always wait til next week and work on it at my parents' house, where I have access to my dad's air compressor (the big kind you use for nail guns and whatnot, but apparently it can be adjusted low enough for my airbrush).  Not sure what to do!

No you won't regret it, what so ever!!  I have to wait till I get a nice day here (no rain) to use mine. My hubby has made a strict rule that there will be no more airbrushing in the house. I seriously gave him this look  So I am hoping this weekend I can get started.

Same boat here... my bait is prepped & I know how I want her to look, but haven't had time to do much of anything.

Before I officially go into panic mode lol, how far along should we be at the first check in?

I just got the FBR done last night, I think I have my hair colours narrowed down and I definitely know what I'm doing design wise. How is everyone else doing?

By check in you need to check in. First check in is to establish that you are still around and working. You need to have made enough progress that you can be done by the final date. If that means you have sketches or a prepped bait or a nearly completed pony, it doesn't matter as long as you can be done on time.

Pony.....Is cool. I like it I think. I hope my partner does too. And I hope adding hair doesn't ruin it somehow.

Well, I've got everything together supply wise. I think I'm gonna have to do this pony kinda backwards & rehair first... Her body is kinda hard, & the design is gonna require a lot of painting fiddly things. I'm afraid doing hair after paint will ruin her. But at least we've got a plan.

So, I have been fiddling with my airbrush for the last few days, and I managed to get a body done that I am pleased with, but was different from my original design, so I might need to change things up a bit.  Wouldn't be a problem at all =]
