Title: Wasp Problem Identified
Post by: StarSwirl05 on October 04, 2019, 11:41:15 AM
Remember last year how I mentioned the wasp problem that was fixed? Well it came back and now I know why. There's an actual nest attached outside my house near the chimney. Just had a nagging feeling to find out why the sudden back-to-back infiltration of wasps after having no issues at all. Low and behold an actual nest that was in plain sight (as opposed to a tree) was allowing the pests to sneak in and be a nuisance. So once the nest goes, that should be the end of the repeat pest performances.

The wasps are nasty this year - we've been continuously removing them from the house, trees and livestock facilities. I understand they're a natural phenomenon but there's far too many for my liking.

Were you able to get rid of the nest?

I would need a ladder to get them and spray to knock them out but it's probably better to wait until winter. Besides, I wouldn't be able to carry the latter necessary.
