Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the petities that come with the playsets have names? I have all three houses from when I was a kid and two of the boxes, I recall seeing names...but I could have just been the name of the houses.

Yes, but its only the playset ones that have names - Flurry [The Pony Prints Cabin], Tabby [The Happy Hoof Market], Puddles [Happy Hearts Cottage], Little Flitter [The Whinny Winks Inn], Topper & Whirly [Carousel], Misty [The Mane Delight Beauty Shoppe], Floater [The Twinkle Treats Ice Cream Shoppe] and Sundrop & Magic Star [Royal Pony Palace] - none of the other sets do weirdly!

Though I'd like to see a pony with chalkboard motif, somehow, and call him Simon.  I loved Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings when I was small; didn't find out about Harold and his Purple Crayon till much later.

Isnt it odd how pony names seem to come back around again and even when we as collectors name ponies its ones similar to HB...hmmmm maybe they know what they are doing after all...just dont tell them I said so!

I remember Siomon too but Harold and the purple crayon was one of my favorite books
