Thank you Foxtale I'm still losing a bit of hair when I brush it out. Is that normal?

I tend to use thick nylon thread as well, wrapping it around lots of times, knotting it and sewing the ends in. Then there is less chance of hairs slipping. The nylon thread can be applied like the clamp on a G1 and then cable tie is kind of like the washer. I would say if you have loose hairs now, don't comb it any more. As more fall out the zip tie will be looser on the hair that is left and it will just get worse. A lot of re-haired ponies aren't really suitable for brushing it's kind of accepted as long as you warn whoever if you are going to pass it on. Hope this helps.
I have a Baby Lickety Split that is tail-less. I don't remember why. It would be fun to re-tail her but I'm afraid that it would be hard to match the mane. There's something inside her. A part if the original tail?
