My little thief!

So, today was the day that my daughter, Ember, had been anxiously waiting for. The day I would drive her to the mall and she could buy a pony comic book. She loves these comics more than anything else about FiM or ponies in general. She reads them, rereads them, copies the pictures, writes her own versions. You get it, right? Borderline obsession.

She would never, EVER allow her sister to hold one. Sometimes she will allow her to *look* at one while she reads it.

So while Ember was busy drawing, I watched while Briar (little sis) sneaked up and carefully lifted the brand new, only read once comic from its spot of the shelf. She the tiptoed quietly into the next room and curled up on the couch and read it herself.

Then she returned it to it's spot right where it was. Ember has no clue!

I guess I probably need to start getting 2 copies. I didn't even know Briar wanted to read them. Now I wonder how many of them she's read.

Hmm reminds me of the time my sister stole my favourite blanket (which had a massive hole in the middle) without my knowledge and my mother took a photo of her wearing it as a poncho. I only found out much later!

Your little girl is adorable. I'm sure she really wants to read all of those comics! Sometimes when your sister is obsessed with something you really want to get into it too. Perhaps two copies is the way to go in future

Yep, My two youngest are only 12months apart and I have to buy two of everything. Didn't think I'd need to do that since one is a boy and one a girl but yeah...she wants some cars/Halo toys just like he wants ponies/hello kitty items.

Ha, my mom never did the two things for me and my sister, which probably didn't work out in her favour because me and my sister would constantly fight over who got to read it first and god forbid one of us looked over the other's shoulder.

"Do you think s/he's going to take the ink off with his/her eyes!?" -Mom
"YES" - Us


So what I'm saying is two comics is probably the way to go.
