Question on behalf of my sister

Really sorry if this is a site no-no or if this is the wrong place to post, but my sister has been wondering about it because she tried to register a few days back (she thinks the 17th or 18th) and she's not been approved yet. We're wondering if it's normal for it to sometimes take this long or if there is something she should be doing, someone she should contact etc.

New applicants tend to be let in every 24-48 hours. She'll probably be in sometime this morning or afternoon.

EDIT: Actually, she will need to reapply. She might have accidentally been rejected because of the IP match. Please have her try again and she'll make it in this time.

Yep, my sister had the same IP match problem when she tried to join last year. But SDS got everything fixed right away.

When my husband joined (to buy gifts for me) he waited a bit and got request confirmation because of the IP address thingy. But it was resolved super quickly! Gotta love our mods.
