MLP 30th Birthday?! Will Hasbro celebrate?

I know Hasbro celebrated their 25th Birthday with new editions from the original G1 ponies in 2007.
This year is their 30th birthday and i was wondering if it will be celebrated! 

What would you love to see back if Hasbro celebrated with a return of a G1 pony (like in 2007)?
What are your thoughts and personal opinions? I'm curious!

I would love for Hasbro to do some G1 remakes in the G4s! That would be my wish. But I don't know... maybe they will do something to celebrate, just a little smaller than their big 25th.

It will be next year for the 30th - MLP previewed 1983 Toy Fair and the 25th Anniversary was celebrated at the 2008 fair so I assume they will do the 30th, 5 years after the 25th...

I hope they will do something and a nod back to G1 is always appreciated - but maybe not more of the fugly re releases from last time! I would prefer G4 with G1 symbols and names...

I agree with everyone who mentioned G1s released in G4 style. Some sort of nod back to the originals, at least. I hope they don't sell that set from the Toy Fair (Zecora, DJ PON3, etc.) or the White Celestia as anniversary stuff. G1s please!

It'd be awesome to have G4 versions of Twilight, Firefly, Surprise, Posey, Sparkler and (of course) Applejack in a special pack but presumable whatever it was that stopped them using those G1s for FiM would stop such a thing.

But generally, G1s as G4s would be fab.

Oh, i thought it was in 2007.. Just counted 30 because the first ponies came in 1982.

I really like the re-release they did with the 25th birthday! I don't have those, but i dó like them!
I would love to see something "G1ish" again I'm not too big a fan of G4, but would like a few collector pony's from G1 released as G2, G3 and G4. So there is a celebration for all kinds of collectors!

This! I'd love to see a Megan, too!! OMG, a G4-style Megan, with her little brown pony from the Firefly's Adventure cartoon? Wouldn't that be INCREDIBLE?

Personally I don't really want to see the G1s turned into G4s. I don't know if they really can do that since a lot of the G4 ponies are a 'nod' to some of the G1 ponies

However, I would love to see a Gusty or wingers

I would love to see that, too.  I also think the g4 style TAF ponies (like Sugarberry, Nightglider, etc) would look lovely.  The delicate nature of TAF seems to translate so well onto the g4's tiny size. 

I'd also love to see them re-release g1s again, like the so softs or the boys.  Oooh - or they could release the babies for the collector pose ponies that they re-released 5 years ago!  That would be awesome.    Please, Hasbro, just make them god quality.  I'm sure we'd all be willing to pay the extra cash for something that looks nice, right?
