Silly things you notice while sick

I've been sick for a week now and I find myself zoning out and noticing weird things. Like for instance I was listening The Marvelettes' Please Mr. Postman and someone happened to post this smiley  in the shoutbox while this song was playing. I was transfixed on this matches up the song. Anyone else notice weird things like that?

I notice all sorts of weird stuff when I'm not sick! I'm sure it increases with a fever!

I notice how quick I am to give up on life and wait for wolves to get me once the sniffles set in.

 I always get cravings for really random food, usually soft serve ice cream (not a big ice cream fan), barbeque potato chips (which I have to be in the right mood for or, most odd: remember that yellow puffy spin-off of fruity and cocoa pebbles that didn't sell to well? Might have been cinnamon pebbles or something? Sometimes I crave that while I'm sick.

The term for that is man-flu. I get a real bad case of it.

I'm a big baby when I'm sick.  I want the wolves to come and end it.     

But I did notice its  the only time I can watch "Master and Commander" all the way through and want to watch it again.

I'm just getting over the norovirus (I had it last night something awful) and honestly I don't notice much except for the fact that I am miserable as heck.

How many of my favourite foods have milk in them
I had two of my wisdom teeth removed on monday, and you're not supposed to eat milk products until about three or four days after the op. I gave in and ate a tiny piece of chocolate yesterday, I just couldn't take it any more!

The most noticeable thing I saw last time was a spot on my ceiling which I was sure was water-leaking through the roof. I was obsessed. Hubby finally rescued me by showing me it was a shadow, but I made him get on the bed and touch it to be sure!

I'm a female but I TOTALLY get man-flu. I think I'm dying every time. My dog is the same way. My hubby complains when he's ill but not in the dramatic way me and my dog act. We both curl up and wait for the end whether it be me with the flu, or her with a single flea-bite. When my son's sick I"m also an obsessive nurse. He's never missed the bucket while puking as I'm literally sitting or sleeping close by and watching close enough that I can catch it in the bucket, even if he starts gagging while both of us are sleeping. I'm a obsessive when it comes to the flu... If I were rich, I"d likely have already converted my foyer into a decontamination chamber.

I get the man flu for sure. I mope, I pout, I try at home remedies and then I just give up. =p Currently I am sick so =p ! I hate losing my voice...that's what I lost the other day and now I sound silly :/  URGH
