So I had a good rant in the trivial complaints about buses (this is an ongoing theme with me, albeit not so much with the pandemic, and not the same buses now I'm not in London) but although I am still livid about it all, I want to say this for my MP, who I emailed about it at around 10.30 this evening.

At 12 minutes past midnight he emailed me back to say that he and the other regional MPs have already asked questions about the funding and that he is looking at other options to help the councils succeed with future bids.

...That's quite an impressive turnaround email time. Above and beyond I think.

I got the distinct feeling he'd either had a lot of people complaining, or he was also very cross. Probably the latter, since he's the kind who speaks his mind.

Snow! A lot of snow! :frolic: It was snowing all day yesterday. It was a blizzard as the wind was also very strong. :cold:
New snow accumulated in the yard at least 20cm. Winter wonderland is here again! :snowing:

Oh my gosh, it's so tiny and cute! :D

The day before yesterday, my cat wasn't feeling well. Then yesterday I noticed something on the side of her mouth. She didn't want me to touch it but it felt like a tooth. Today she's much better and after checking her sleeping spots I found the tooth :) That's three gone (including two canines) that I know of. I'm just glad she feels better. It must have hurt before it came out.

Played Dragon Age Inquisition level Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts and my team was Iron Bull, Vivian, and Sera.

The introduction that the reader gave about Sera:

Her Ladyship Mai Bhalsych Of Korse

I cracked up laughing at that.

Plus I got Celene & Brianna back together and got Gaspard killed. I also had Florianne dressed as my Jester.

This is a weird thing to put in here but I'm going to anyway.

We went to town on the bus today. Most folk on the bus wearing masks, a few not. One guy got on at the midpoint town centre. He had no mask, he sat at the front and twice he started coughing with little respect for other passengers (ie not covering his face).

...After each time he did that, the driver stopped the bus at the next stop and opened the doors.

Now, once could have been coincidence, but not twice. And especially not since the bus was already running late, and was on the most tricky stretch of road where no bus stops if it doesn't have to, because it's that tight and windy getting past.

We can only assume he did this to ventilate after the guy coughed.

The guy got off not long after, in that same area...and after that there were no more impromptu door opening stops.

...So yeah. If that was the case, that driver deserves a medal.

i came upon a Twitter post today that said farmers in Finland are spraying deer with reflective paint to reduce accidents on the road. there is an illustration of a reindeer with huge glowing antlers! i'm not sure if this is true but the illustration is both amazing and terrifying. if i were driving through the fog and saw a deer with glowing antlers i would pass out from terror and amazement. is it Santa Claus? a demon?

Reindeer in Texas would also be strange but I once drove by a farm with gazelles so who know what kinds of animals people keep here.

This was yesterday. I was at my parents house for Easter and before we began cooking, my mom and I were watching a show on Netflix about Birds of Paradise and other "extreme" birds and how they dance and show off their elaborate feathers and displays. My mom's cat went NUTS watching the TV! I had to lift her up so she could see better and she practically leapt out of my arms at the screen

I told my mom she should play some bird videos on YouTube for her. My mom has never done YouTube so I had to show her how it works. I also tried a cat game on my phone that has ants the cat can "catch" and they make a splat graphic  She loved it! My own cats were too old to get into such things for very long, so it was fun watching Puddin' getting so into it :D

^ Cats are so lovely and fun!  :inlove: :lmao:

---

:yippee: I did it! I survived the gastroscopy!  :frolic:
It happened this morning. I didn’t get a soothing injection because I didn’t know I should have come to the health center earlier than my allotted time. It was a pretty unpleasant experience, but it was worthwhile to do. The doctor said that I'm worth to visit the ultrasound description of thyroid gland, as the symptoms may join the goiter. He also took several tissue samples of the throat, stomach and small intestine. After four weeks, I get to know if the pathologist found anything.
Fortunately, it is now done and over!  :relaxed:
