g3 twist & style petal parlor
« on: February 02, 2014, 12:14:31 PM »
so I've noticed this playset before and always wondered if it actually worked well enough to style cute twists in pony hair. I know most collectors can achieve great hair styles on their own but I'm still curious if anyone has ever tried it out? any pix or videos of the results? for some reason I feel like it wouldn't work very well

It works...but not super well and you really need to do it with quite small sections of hair. But you can use it if you are brave :)
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

To second Cat, It indeed does work, but I remember when these were first released, many people, Parents particularly, complained about it being fragile. Mine has held up well, but for active play, I have heard not so great things.

You're definitely better off doing hair twists on your own. The ones these make tend to be loose and you can only use a small bit of hair at a time

I guess I could see how you would have to use it delicately, I'd imagine if you tried to do big of a chunk of hair it would just twirl the whole pony around lol
still looks cute as a display though, thanks for reply! :)
