Hello, new fakie!

Hi!  I don't know if this little fakie has been posted here before, but I hadn't noticed them at my local Dollarama yet and did today, so I figured I'd get one and slap up some photos.   I was stunned at the amount of, er, creatively borrowed box art.  Mine has green mane & tail with green body, but if anyone's interested, there were also pink/pink and blue/blue.

Ahhh! I remember a la mode was on some sort of language thing I did waaaay back in 4th grade, and I remember the definition they gave us was "with ice cream". I am now oh so sad, my education is already failing me!

I think the colour is what caught my eye.  I adored Medley's colours so much, I couldn't help but like this one too.

She doesn't have a symbol, but I'm really liking majikarte's visualization of a recycling symbol on a pony's flank (although it's the pink princessy pony on the box that was referenced).  I may just have a hand at putting the three green arrow triangle on this pony's flanks (yeah, both, I'm old school) and see how it looks.   Misleading advertising, to be sure, but pretty nonetheless.

What's really making me giggle on retrospect is the tiny pony in a circle on the top right, that says, Collect them all!

Yes, in French, "à la mode" means "fashionable/in style" as an adjective; but dessert-wise, people use it in English to mean "with ice cream on top or on the side". So your 4th grade notes weren't technically wrong!

I have that fakie, except mine was in a slightly different box but the inside was the same. They were in the Pound Stores in the uk.

I'm still considering going back for a pink and a blue...   I think I'm developing a soft spot for fakies...
