Star-Watcher agrees.  Nothing wrong with the boys having hair.  He would look silly otherwise.

It is only natural that prices will rise as demand does and availability steadily decreases.

And for some reason, this not only gave me a mischievous smile, but actually made me laugh...

I do have to say that at least they got the tails positioned properly on the G5s.  What the heck were they thinking placing them so low on the G4s?

Today's initial smile was generated by my sealed copy of Lord of the Rings Online : Mines of Moria/Complete edition sold on eBay for $20.

Haven't had anything this morning generate a smile just yet, but that is because I am still waking up and getting my head in order and awaiting morning coffee.

However, I did have a good smile first thing yesterday morning when I went to turn on the AC in my office (next door to my bed room) to get it cooling off for the day, and was greeted by the little 1/6 scale figure and Pony display on the shelf be the air conditioner.

Almost a bit embarrassed to show this off but here goes.

Yeah, discovered that the costume that came with my Zootopia Gazelle fits my adorable femboy, Austin Crowe.  Here he is ready for open mic night at the Falcon's Nest...

I was completely unaware of a G5 line until just a couple days ago when I found my way back to the Arena here.  That said, except for that purple one, there is just something not quite right with the faces.  I think the purple one's more luxurious and fuller mane helps make her look right.

However, I am declaring the jury of me to be out on these for now.  I would definitely have to see them in person to make a judgement one way or the other.

Ones I can think of...

1:  I actually like Danny and would have loved to see him arrive in Equestria (perhaps hanging out with Zecora for a bit before continuing to find the old Dream Valley).  Note to self, make a 1/6 scale Danny action figure soon...

2:  The Sweetheart Sisters are quite pretty.

3:  Princess Royal Pink and Princess Royal Purple are just drop dead gorgeous.

That is all for now.

Pony Corral / Re: What are you doing with your ponies right now?

Most of mine are in the big box they all got stowed in right before the move back in 2015.  Then there are a few select ponies that are set up on display, either stand alone or interacting with my various 1/6 scale figures.

I'd post a few pics, but many are in conjunction with what I call my femboy fashionista figure.  And even though it is tame and technically family friendly, I am not sure if he would be appropriate here.  He is pretty adorable, though I think I need to have a permanent light blush put on his cheeks soon.  :D

Since I retired from the military and then later achieved at least comfortably ever after by moving back to our old stomping grounds in Eastern Oregon (no more rent, ever; just property taxes which come to around $100 per month), interests have expanded to include biking around town; especially along the river walk  (https://www.bitchute.com/video/0iHIIKPhdR9E/), toobing along the river that goes through town (https://www.bitchute.com/video/z73urBlYPn2X/).

Also, taking care of the front and back yards as we prep them for new grass next year, and various types of gardening (sunflowers, cannabis, peppers, leeks, etc)  The first two are grow hobbies I have really immersed myself in, with intention of breeding.  These are really bringing out my inner mad scientist with the things I want to try.  :)  Seems almost cliched that retirement would result in me taking up gardening.  I also enjoy just spending time sitting on the front porch with a good drink and a bowl of some homegrown stuff, and just be.

Inside, working on my eCrater, Etsy, eBid, and eBay stores takes a good amount of my time, with some time for general YouTube and BitChute surfing, a few animes, and movies; as well as casual gaming in Valheim or City of Heroes.  About to start Borderlands 2 later tonight as well, and will probably get immersed in that for a while.

Pony Corral / Oh My! Forgot All About This Little Guy...

Was going through a long forgotten box of Ponies and 1/6 scale action figures and found this little guy from a previous life

I really thought it was made custom by someone here on the Arena back in the early 2000s, when I was still relatively new to the arena.  Unfortunately, a search through my ancient messages and my posting history turns up nothing.  :(

Anyone here from back then remember making this little custom Star-Watcher for me?

Nice to see this place is still alive and hopping.  Figured most would have moved on to FB by now.  Can't believe, judging by my last post here that it has been close to 2 years since I haunted the Arena.  Be interesting to see how many familiar faces from ye days of olde here are still active.

Ah well, back to Neverwinter for a bit before bed.

Pony Corral / Pony Identification Time

Time to get help identifying another Pony

Anyone know who this one is?

Went carefully through the Pegasus list on the FiM Wiki and did not see an entry for one that matches her description.

Off Topic / Re: PC on a Microsoft Promo Voodoo Vince Plush Doll?
« on: February 19, 2014, 03:20:14 PM »
He is going to be listed tonight, in what I call a feeler auction.  That is, he will be listed in auction format, starting at $500.  However, I am going to put a steep reserve on him, and then a $3000 BIN on top of that (since auctions have to have a Buy It Now price to be picked up by Google Shopping).

If all goes well, as in eBay's cantseeme search engine does not suddenly make the listing invisible, then he will either meet the reserve by the time the listing ends, goes for his BIN, or at least provides a more accurate ballpark figure for relisting at fixed price (if the reserve doesn't get met, and serious collectors go after him).

This is one of the few good reasons to not only use a reserve price, but also use auction format instead of fixed price.

Unfortunately, I will have to restrict him to U.S. shipping only, due to eBay's requirement of online viewable signature confirmation for anything over $750 ($250 requirement for PayPal's version of the protection), and there are no known international shipping methods that meet this requirement.

Off Topic / PC on a Microsoft Promo Voodoo Vince Plush Doll?
« on: February 19, 2014, 03:15:39 AM »
Anyone have any idea what a reasonable expectation would be pricewise for one of these?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/microsoft-collectible-voodoo-vince-promo-doll-/221362825652?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item338a40a9b4

This isn't my listing. The one I found today is still sealed in its baggie. I am guessing that the $4500 this guy has been trying to get for his is on the way too high side. However, neither Google nor DuckDuckGo are turning up much useful information at all. The only thing of note was found on the Voodoo Vince Wiki...

Replica 1:1 scale Voodoo Vince dolls where presented to the production team of the game. The left overs had been sent out to many different countries on release of the game as prizes for competitions. 100 where made.

If it turns out that we found one of those 100, then could the $4500 that other seller was trying for actually be reasonable after all?

If this indeed turns out to be as rare as I am suspecting, then this could supplant my 45 cent Nobleheart Horse plush that I resold for $950 as my greatest thrift score ever.
