Jolene got a new wig today!   It's a Licht 2.5D wig that I found on eBay.  She looks amazing!

Thanks! The beading is actually original- the fabric is from a vintage sari.  I think she looks like Snow White a bit-

I had to give up my layaway of Pico baby Ashes with Aileendoll as finances are tight this month. I had only put 30 down on him anyway, so it's not a huge loss in the money area, but a huge loss on my heart If only the layaway period was a month longer, it would have been fine *sigh* This is what happens when you get depressed/stressed and are irresponsible with ordering dolls on layaways to soothe frustrations. I currently have like 4 on layaway that I am paying off and it is tight. I do not recommend!

I try to sell other dolls and things ans save up my "doll fund" before splurging on a pricey doll. Forcing myself to feed the fund gives me a better appreciation of how stinking costly these things really can be, and it does keep me from buying too many things. (Alas, can't say the same for art supplies and doll fashions, which I can't seem to stop buying with horrible regularity)

The scary thing is when you have so many craft supplies that you have to buy things twice because you can't find where you put the thing you bought the first time...  (I've been possibly overdoing it on crystals and beads for doll dresses...)

I want to buy a Volks FCS from their USA store (online) but I don't want to send it to a warehouse address in case something happens to it. I was hoping I could borrow someone's services as a package forwarder to New Zealand. I'm happy to pay or barter for services.
