technically yesterday, but the fact i got my first ever playset for my G3 collection!!  i forgot they were so big- i got the bloomin' blossoms shop with all ponies & accessories

In addition to the doves, the woodpeckers settled into the palm tree trunk I can see out my window. The nest is on the far side but I can watch them come and go with nesting material.

One of my students proudly emailing me to show me that she'd got hold of a copy of the grammar text book we've been talking about a lot in class. Apparently it's quite hard to track down; she was quite triumphant.

Because this course is a compulsory unit for 2nd year BA Japanese undergrads, it's hard to know how much they like/hate studying it. So it's nice to have a student showing some enthusiasm.

I got to help run an Escape Room at a local middle school.  The 6th graders had a blast.  They were fun to watch. 

And I get to do it again tomorrow and Friday.

I called my dad on Wednesday because Tuesday was his birthday. It was nice chatting for a long time.  Oops, I remember calling him last before Christmas ... so it was time!
