It's been a while since I last posted over here.  I've been spending so much time sewing for my Kikipop lately that I haven't taken very many BJD photos. ^^;
But today I broke out my Mystic Kids Lillian for a "first day of autumn" photo shoot.  I just had to ring in the season with my first and favorite BJD. :heart:

Thank you, Uninu. :)
That was one of the reasons that I chose the Akagi Doll.  His aesthetic was such a close match for Mystic Kids Lillian.  I like for my dolls to look as uniform as possible without becoming clones of one another. lol

He got new eyes today—10mm instead of 12mm.  They look a lot better on him.
Now I'm just waiting on his wig to arrive and he'll be complete. :D

Your Unoa looks awesome!  I love Unoas so much. <3

Noxxbunny, she is too, too cute!  I love her hair and her clothing.  And the brown paws and ear tips look fantastic!!

I completely completed my Freyr.  He now has an outfit, a bio, and a name: Pawl Mewman. ^.^

Does anyone happen to know if Blythe clothes fit Freyrs/Freyas? I bought some standard YOSD clothes for my Freyr but he's practically swimming in them! I thought Blythe clothes might fit better since they're smaller, but I don't own any, and I'm too hesitant to buy some and try it out myself.

I'm not sure about Blythe clothes.  I can tell you that Freyr can fit some older Ken shirts fairly well, depending on the cut.  Like '90s Ken, not the new Fashionistas.  Every Ken Fashionistas shirt I've tried on him has been way too big.

He can fit Ever After High boy shirts pretty well.  They're a tad big on him, but not too bad.  It's do'able.
He can't fit their pants because (a) they're too long, and (b) he can't get his feet through the narrow lower legs of the pants.

He can fit Barbie clothing perfectly, both shirts and shorts/capris.  I've tried several tops and bottoms on him and they've all been near-perfect fits.
So anything in the Barbie range of sizing should work for him. :)

My Hujoo Freyr's face-up is complete.
I'm still working on detailing his body and making clothes for him.

The Dollhouse / Re: What kind of doll collector are you?
« on: January 13, 2017, 11:41:56 AM »
I focus first and foremost on 1:4 scale dolls.  My dolls are a "family" with detailed and interconnected stories; and I usually choose new dolls based on a role or relationship that needs to be filled.  As such, my core collection is relatively small (ten dolls in total, at the moment).

I've also become mildly obsessed with Hujoo lately. :biggrin:  I've bought up three Hujoo dolls in the last month and a half, and I'm already planning on getting another. ^^;

Thank you, Akemi-chan. ^.^
That's exactly what I was going for, was a kind of Pullip/anime hybrid style.

My current favorite doll (yes, it's already changed from two weeks ago ^^;) is my Hujoo Sara.  There's basically nothing that I don't love about this girl.
