I wouldn't mind a forum thread just for restoring help I know there are guides but a lot of times there are still questions. For example I have a honeysuckle who's hair is gone all white. Would re-hairing be recommended?  Is it better to rehair with the original color or try something new?

Is her hair normally pale pink? You can dye it! Using rose coloured rit dye :)

That's a fabric dye is it?

The problem with a thread like that is that information and questions can be posted over so quickly that they are missed - which is never good. Individual threads mean people can discuss in depth their questions and get lots of opinions and advice :)

Yes, rit dye is the most popular solution - this thread is missing the original pictures but the tutorial from Rhys works well!

I was considering making a blog about my efforts to restore some of my pony's and posting the things I learned and what tutorials I find helpful.

Would people find that interesting?

I second this!

And yes, rit dye is a fabric dye. I haven't tried it yet (I have two bunny hops who need to be re-pinked) but I'm reliably informed its the thing to do.
