Rehairing a Flutterpony
« on: March 16, 2016, 04:09:56 PM »
I've done regular pony rehairs, but I'm wondering if flutter ponies pose any challenge with the whole wing mechanism possibly in the way. I don't want to open her up if it might not be an obtainable task. Her hair is completely fried, even after boiling and using a flat iron.

I have never opened one, but I know I have seen rehaired flutter ponies! As far as I know, the mechanism is completely external and should not pose a problem. Its just a little plastic square stuck in a hole in the pony's back. If she has wings, just remove them from their slots before being rough with her!

If anyone who has opened one wants to weigh in, that would be peachy!

I've rehaired one no problem. Just a smaller neck/head to work with, but that's the only issue. Definitely remove the wings before removing the head just so you don't accidentally break them.

Thanks! I ordered her hair and can't wait to remove the fried mess of hair she currently has!
