Different Tinsel On Mane and Tail?

I listed my Sunspot on eBay and a bidder pointed out that the pictures make it look like my Sunspot has gold tinsel in her tail, but silver tinsel in her mane. I took a look at the pony and it looks like they're right!

Did her gold tinsel maybe fade to a silverish color? Or did this one mistakenly get silver tinsel in her hair?

I've seen that before, its factory. I wish mine was all gold but she's all silver.

I know there's tinsel variants in some Sparkle Ponies where they'll either be entirely silver, or entirely gold. However, I've never seen a tinsel difference just between the mane and tail. I checked my own Sunspot, she seems to be just all gold, and I don't believe the rest of my Sparkle Ponies are mismatched either.

This is definitely a noted thing for some sparkles - Napper and Sunspot I think? Sunspot is also known for having different mane/tail in terms of how fading her pink is. Some are completely fading pink but some fade out in the mane more than the tail...

I re-pinked her mane and tail maybe twenty years ago with KoolAid, I think. Either KoolAid or food coloring. One of them.

Definitely a thing! I had 3 Sunspots at one time and they were all different. Here is my thread talking about them. I used to use photobucket before they got stupid so I don’t know how good the pictures are anymore..
