I need a tip on plasticizer leakage please
« on: September 03, 2021, 05:44:49 AM »
Hi! I'm a new collector and I'd never had a pony with this problem, last week I bougt two brand new g3 ponies from diferent sellers and both are a little sticky, they were new in their boxes   l washed them and after that I used alcohol but only outside the pony, is there any problem if I don't wash them inside? Is there any problem if I leave t'hem in the same room than the other ponies? Thank you  :)

I don't think washing the inside of the pony would do anything...once they start leaking they will keep leaking until all of the plasticizer is gone. You may find that the sticky feeling will return over time and you'll have to wash them again or just leave them as is. :)

There shouldn't be any problem with keeping them near the other ponies, or at least I haven't heard of any issues with it so far. I would avoid putting them in plastic containers containing other ponies, though!

Thank you very much,  I didn't want to decapitate poor Blossomforth and  Starsong, the heads are stuck very hard, I know that they should not come into contact with other plastics so I have left them separated but in the same room, poor girls.
