I bought two variety packs of Starbucks coffee to try and the one I'm drinking is really good and strong. I have this Folgers coffee that I bought before I got the Starbucks and compared to that the Folgers is so weak and tastes watered down no matter how many scoops I put in. I don't want it to go to waste so I'm drinking it but man, it's not very good

I've just been feeling down lately. i think its post holiday blues. it's cold outside.

i've also been missing home and my friends. it's been about a year and a half since i've been home and i just feel really disconnected from everyone. also my parents told me one of my favorite restaurants back home closed over a year ago and that made me really sad.

I found a mouse poo in my bathroom.  I'm pretty positive it wasn't there this morning before I left for work.  I set a trap but I'm conflicted because I don't want the mouse in my living space but I also don't want to kill it, but I don't have a no-kill trap.  Plus, if I don't kill it, it will just keep coming back.    I live in the country so I know that there are critters--I just wish they would stay outside instead of coming in.  It hasn't even been a cold winter, we've been at or above freezing for most of the month.

It's not been a good day and I'm feeling worse as it goes on. My throat hurts and I've been sneezing a lot. It could be allergies... the tree pollen is moderate and there is a tree right outside my (open) window, so.

Also my back and neck are still hurting from my doctor visit from Monday. They wanted an EKG and I had to lie down on a flat examine table and the EKG wasn't working right so I was in that position for a while (it was my glasses interfering with the machine). Being flat on back HURTS A LOT and my extremities start to go numb. It wasn't a fun time!

I was exhausted last night and feel asleep without my CPAP machine on.  When I woke up enough around 2 am to realize I wasn't using it I put it on but I can tell that I didn't have it on most of the night.  I am even more exhausted now.

The most trivial complaint of the day: I want COOKIES!

I've been on a low-calorie diet since late 2019 and staring wistfully at the cookie aisle ever since, but I made some calculations and found that none of them have fewer than 880 calories per pack. And, I just know that if I open a pack of cookies, then I'm eating an entire pack of cookies. And you have no idea how badly I want to do that right now

Unfortunately, I am much worse today. Coughing, sneezing, sore throat, itchy eyes, chest congestion... the list goes on. It still might be bad allergies. I very rarely get colds or the flu. Whatever it is, it sucks.

Got my two Disney Little Mermaid DVDs today and the first one wasn’t the one advertised in the picture from eBay.uk my mum got in touch with them saying that it wasn’t the 2006 2 disc special edition. If they don’t send the one I want then I’m sending the imposter back it’s the 2013 edition with no audio commentary on it.

The doll I ordered wasn’t the one that was sent, got in touch with the seller saying the wrong one was sent, they got back to my mum and will send the one I ordered (Nakoma Sun Colours) and a return label for the one sent.

I have made a mess of my jeans today, and now have no more clean jeans or long pants when it’s -30 outside. Also yeah, it’s -30 outside and I am just feeling icky on top of everything else. Fun times!

Just so burnt out on lockdown and the fact there's no realistic end in sight, but people are talking again about opening pubs and going on holiday.

Not so trivial but my sister is in the hospital again, she's bleeding internally and has a mass on one of her kidneys. Apparently, where the blood is coming from (some type of gland) is a teeny, tiny area so they aren't wanting to operate just yet. She's been admitted for observation and pain treatment. She'd been complaining about her back hurting for like a week.

She's the primary caretaker of my mom and the house in general. I went over there today to clean the litter boxes and move the cat food out of the laundry room and into the kitchen. My mom is in a wheel chair and it's hard for her to get around. My dad is half blind but still insists on driving and he came to pick me up and just dropped me off at my place.

I'm worried about my sister but now I have to worry about my parents too. I could always bring my cat and stay there for a few days, which is maybe what this will come to. The situation sucks for a lot of reasons.
