Title: Rehairing a Takara baby
Post by: starscout on April 04, 2022, 11:44:59 PM
I recently managed to get my hands on a Takara baby (a fakie, of course). She's very cute, but there was one issue: her hair was in pretty bad condition. It was dried, frizzy, and several plugs were missing hair entirely. At first, I had planned on rehairing her with a yellow or blonde shade to try and match her original hair, but I ultimately decided I wanted her to have a more unique shade. Afterall, there's already a few canon blue-fur blonde-hair ponies. The hair is the shade "Fudge" from The Dollyverse. While combing her hair, the hair in one of her plugs came out. I'll have to fix that later... :drunk:

Nice, she looks very well done!  I've never had one of those - is the tail rooted or..."normal"?

Brown and blue are one of my favorite color combos  She looks great!

I have a brown and blue custom and I never would have thought those colors would go together so well but THEY DO.  In this case the white muzzle really seems to pull it all together somehow.  I don't know how to describe the feeling but it is...maybe...cozy?
