Probably the best condition Buttons I've seen in a long time, but I have like 6 of her and can't see anything different about this one.

There are only 4 bidders so I suspect that it's a bidding war.

It's crazy, why would you go that high on a Buttons that isn't any different to any other Buttons? It just strikes me as odd!

If its a pony you want...I dont think there is a problem in "over paying"! These ponies arent in stores any more they dont have a "recommended retail price" so I think they are "worth" what someone is willing to pay.

I once paid seriously over the odds for a Rossette with her accessories and a Tales Sweetheart...I got laughed on the Arena [threads like this always make a buyer uncomfortable] but I really really really wanted that pony so I dont regret it...

If you can afford it I would say go for it....

She looks in really nice condition - nothing variant "special" but well done seller and I hope the buyer loves her!

Hathorcat: I'm not putting the buyer down, I think it's lovely that someone wants her that much, I just feel confused that a pony we were only a month ago paying £20 for, we are now paying a lot more. I think it has something to do with the fact that ponies are becoming so rare now, especially G1's, it's becoming harder and harder to find them in thrift shops.

I've just found something even stranger, Mimic with some flaws is at £110.00! I've written another post about it on the corral. I'm really really confused!

Why would you be confused? Its an auction site....there is always the chance prices will shoot high or stay very low, or hit an average - its a gamble and final price will always depend on who is looking, who has the money at the time, who really really wants her and so many other factors....

Yes, we can do pcs and say "this is what you should expect to get" but sometimes people wont be willing to pay that much and sometimes people will be willing to pay more...lol "we cant live by pc alone!"

I just feel it's a bit unusual, two ponies that aren't super rare are attracting a lot of attention, it's good news yes, because we can hope that the economy is rising and ponies will be able to attract a fair amount of money when sold :)

Ahhh I understand....well Buttons can be hard to find outside Europe and Mimic is always going to be sought after so high? yes certainly...unusual to see random ponies and auctions hitting high levels? not really anymore...lol [other than those G4 plushies which constantly make me go "really?"] I am no longer surprised on ebay auctions!
