What do you consider "fast"?  I have a Disney-themed Loungefly backpack that I purchased over 2 years ago that I've toted around absolutely everywhere (including halfway around the world on a cruise), and it still looks amazing. No scuffs, creases, breakage, etc.

I've had two purses made of the stuff that wore out in just one year of regular use. Like the top plastic coating would start to crease and then flake off. It was so disappointing. Not to mention wasteful! Those purses put me off of buying anything other than canvas. But your experience sounds much better. Especially for a backpack!

The 3D art looks better than the 2D art at least. But yeah, I gotta agree that the style still feels very G4 and more like a G4+Disney blend which has got me feeling more neutral about them at least. But it just feels a little too generic for me to get hyped about. I don't feel like the style has enough of it's own personality right now. Maybe that will change in the future though. We saw a lot of different toy styles emerge from the last gen so who knows. I'm not sure I'm going to get over the eyebrows any time soon though. :lol:

Yeah these designs are just about the opposite of what I like in cartoon art styles. Maybe the toys will look better but otherwise this is a hard pass for me.

I was just thinking that if the new movie is supposed to have both the new and the old main characters, then won't the style for the new characters have to be similar to G4? It seems really strange that they'd introduce a brand new style right after having a G4ish movie. But even if the new movie is in a different style, why bother having G4 ponies that won't look the same in there?

I'm so confused about what Hasbro is trying to do.  :P

I love Filly! They were sold a little bit in the US at TRU. I collected some of the butterfly line from there and they briefly had another line but I don't remember which one. They where also really briefly on sale at Target in the collectibles section. I remember them only having like one box of blind bags and then they never restocked them.
